مرگ اور زیست کا ہے دل پہ ہی جب دار و مدار
مارتا ہے تو انا کے لئے کیوں من اپنا
جس کی آواز مرے کانوں میں رس گھولتی تھی
تو گنوا آیا کہاں ہاتھوں کا کنگن اپنا
اب مرا جسم مری ذات کہاں باقی بچی
کر دیا نام ترے جب یہ سرو تن اپنا
